Best-selling author and speaker Martia Nelson is an international Executive Coach to accomplished women committed to making a difference in the world. Martia’s expertise in managing the unique stresses that come with persuing a vision, achievement, wealth and high visibility make her indispensable to clients as their confidential mentor.

Clients have included founders of multi-million dollar companies, philanthropists, best-selling authors, and high achievers who value a life with meaning and contribution.

For 28 years Martia has been liberating women from the pressure, stress and loneliness that rob them of their time and  joy — while guiding them to increased success with their careers, companies or philanthropy, and personal lives. A cornerstone of Martia’s approach is to teach a client how to be rooted in her True Self, so she lives the life she is meant for — and enjoys it!

As a thought leader in her field, Martia was already at the forefront of the conscious living movement in the mid-1980s, teaching people how to connect with their True Self and to live authentically and purposefully, in both their work and personal lives. Her book, Coming Home: The Return to True Self, was first released in 1993 with accolades from fellow thought leaders such as Deepak Chopra and Shakti Gawain.

Martia has a particular gift for helping clients see the bigger picture and their next steps; end overwhelm; make better decisions, silence the inner critic;  have inner peace and clarity in the most challenging situations; turn major life changes into positive turning points; and find more time and life balance even when it seems impossible.

Martia is currently interviewing 200+ women around the world to research and write her next book, The New Feminine Wealth: How Women Are Redefining What Constitutes a Rich Life. In it she presents an empowering new model of wealth for our times and explores the values women are injecting into cultural paradigms about money, achievement and happiness.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

 A personal healing crisis in 1984 led Martia to a spiritual epiphany and remarkable connection to a deep source of inner peace, intuition and wisdom that changed the direction of her life. She calls that inner source True Self.her life — and for other people, too! In her book, Coming Home: The Return to True Self, she shares this story and the principles her True Self revealed to her for leading a rich life. This spiritual connection is the foundation of Martia’s life and work.

Martia is also a huge dog lover and a dog trainer. Through her all-positive dog training services she is committed to helping local dogs have successful placements with their human pack members and behaviors that yield happy and harmonious interactions with their community. For many years she and her doggie love-of-her-life, Rincon, also taught Canine Freestyle Dance. MARTIA'S PAST SERVICE TO HER COMMUNITY

• Founder & Director of the nonprofit project Arts for Healing, which provided cancer-survivor painting groups and art exhibits to the community
• Commissioned a 9-foot public sculpture, Life's Voyage, that empowers people whose lives have been touched by cancer
• Board member of Bread for the Journey, which awards micro grants to grassroots community projects in Sonoma County, CA
• Board member of Lomi Clinic, which provides affordable mental health care
