Do You Love Yourself This Much?.
I saw this photo on Facebook yesterday and immediately wanted to share it with you. It captures the truth about self-love.
Self-love is not something "private" we should keep to ourselves, afraid that if people see it, they will think we are selfish or too self-absorbed.
Self-love is a state of being we are meant to fully embrace--for our own good as well as for the good of others.
Self-love strengthens and balances us and gives us the natural confidence we crave to exude.
And by our example, it gives permission to others to feel and exude self-love and to be empowered by it, too!
AND, as the photo says, our self-love cues other people how to treat us!
How cool is that?
No more waiting and waiting and waiting for others to figure out how to treat us well. And then being disappointed and hurt when they don't.
Self love is the state we are meant to be in and to freely show the world!
Rest assured that some people will step forward and follow your self-love lead -- in how they treat you and in how they become more self-loving, too. They will become your kindred spirits.
And some people might complain or retreat or leave entirely. Sad. But great! Your life and relationships will become authentic.
So how can you love yourself and show it unabashedly and consistently, in a healthy and authentic way?
That self-love has to come from your true self.
Your true self is the deep, inner Source that, I promise you, is always unconditionally loving of you and willing to show it.
You deserve the goodness, confidence and opportunities that will come to you when "you love yourself so fiercely that when others see you, they know exactly how it should be done"!
Believing in you,
